DZAR (1026 kHz Metro Manila) is an AM station owned and operated by Swara Sug Media Corporation in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at 32/F Jollibee Plaza, F. Ortigas Jr. (formerly Emerald) Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
It was formerly known as Angel Radyo 1026 and was owned by Nation Broadcasting Corp. (the same network that operates MTV Philippines and 923 Joey and a unit of the PLDT Group) until televangelist Apollo Quiboloy purchased all of NBC's AM stations under the Swara Sug platform (which ironically he seized control of from the Manalang family a year before) in 2005. All of the NBC AM stations that Quiboloy purchased were in turn rebranded as "Sonshine Radio" named after himself as he claims to be the "appointed Son of God in the Gentile Setting."
Unlike most Philippine broadcast entities where their base of operations/flagship stations are in Manila, DZAR is not the flagship station of Sonshine Radio. The flagship station of the Sonshine Radio network is DXAQ 1404 kHz which is located in Quiboloy's central headquarters in Catitipan, Davao City, which his rabid fanatics call as "The New Jerusalem".
Its broadcast is heard not only in its territorial limits (Metro Manila) but also all over the world through radio streaming by cable television (Globecast) and through the Internet at its website, thus the tag "Dinig sa buong mundo" (Heard all over the world).
