DZ Bank AG is a commercial bank and the "cooperative central bank" for 1,100 Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank branches in Germany and Austria.

DZ Bank is based in the financial district of Frankfurt and is the fifth largest bank in Germany with domestic and worldwide operations. It maintains branches, subsidiaries and representative offices in key financial centers and most key economic regions, worldwide.

As former DG cooperative central bank, DZ Bank can call on the experiences of over 100 years of banking history.

Among others, Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, R+V Versicherung, Union Investment, DG HYP and VR Leasing also belong to the DZ Bank Group.

Chairman of DZ Bank is Dr. Ulrich Brixner.
