Dzūkian

Dzūkian is a dialect of Lithuanian language, spoken in the southern region of Lithuania called Dzūkija.

Dialects of Lithuanian language: Aukštaitian (Northern Aukštaitian), Dzūkian (Southern Aukštaitian), Sudovian (Western Aukštaitian), Samogitian (which sometimes is categorized as a separate language).

Belongs to group of Indo-European languages. Eastern Baltic.

Comments: Aukštaitian speakers can understand Sudovian easily, Dzukian speakers with a little difficulty, and vice versa. Samogitian is difficult for all others to understand.
