This map has certain flaws noted by User:Silthor at the Polish talk page. All of them will be corrected some time, though I doubt it will happen any time soon. That's why, for the sake of accuracy, I'll note them here:
- the mountain division (22nd Mountain Division, to be precise) placed to the NE of Nowy Targ should be some 80km to the N, near Tarnów
- the other two mountain brigades (1st and 2nd) should be facing the German 1st and 2nd Bergsjaeger divisions
- There should be a Polish cavalry brigade (Suwalska Brygada Kawalerii) placed in Suwałki, to the N of Augustów
- In Silesia, near Mikołów, there should be yet another infantry division (55th)
- the unit placed in the Pomerania (between Gdynia and Hel peninsula) was not precisely a division. It was much stronger than a division, but was organised in a different way, was much more decentralised and differed largely from an average infantry division, both in the number of guns and other heavy equipment, and in its tactics. On the other hand I couldn't find a better symbol for the "Lądowa Obrona Wybrzeża" (lit. Land Defence of the Shoreline). Any ideas?
