Jim Hendricks or Dyre (born October 23, 1979) is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville studying Computer Science and Mathematics with plan to graduate in Dec 2006.

Jim Hendricks was born in Bloomington, Minnesota on October 23, 1979. He grew up in Mound, Minnesota and graduated the local High School, Mound-Westonka High School, in 1998 with interests in Art and Mathematics.

In July 1998, he attended the Arts Institute International Minneapolis for Computer Animation where he learned and built skills in Adobe Photoshop and 3D Studio Max. Unfortunately he dropped out in June 2000, even though he only needed 3 more credits to graduate.

In January 2001, he began attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for Mathematics and later added a Computer Science major. There learned and built programming skills using COBOL, ADA, Java, C++, VB, LISP, Prolog and other programming languages. He also was an active member of SPAMM, Society of Platteville's Anime and Manga Maniacs, which is the Anime Club on Campus. For 2 years, starting in 2002, he served as the Publicity Officer, and the 2 years after as the President.
