[edit] John Cena
Regarding the picture. Cena's physical appearence has not changed, and either has his gimmick. Just a photo of Cena wearing a new t-shirt isn't notable. He still has the same gimmick, hes just wearing new t-shirts that have to do with being a soldier to promote "The Marine". Other wrestlers do not have photos of their updated gimmick, and if they do, they are in the infobox. Not in the article. Thanks. --Mikedk9109 (sup) (stalk me) 23:29, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- His gimmick has changed though, He went from a rapper to a Marine. DXRAW 08:58, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
It is just a regular picture of him. It does't serve any purpose what so ever. Again, his physical appearence has not changed. His gimmick has not changed. He rapped a few weeks ago on RAW, so he obviously is still one. He is just posing as a Marine the promote his movie. No other wrestler has pictures of their gimmick changes, and again, if they do, they are updated in the infobox. In this case we cannot change the picture because it is free use. The picture isn't notable. --Mikedk9109 (sup) (stalk me) 21:14, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Have you looked at Mark Calaway & Glen Jacobs? DXRAW 21:18, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Kane being umassked was a huge part of his career. The Undertakers gimmick from 2004 was a hybrid of all of his previous gimmicks, which creates a pretty big change. Both of these which are way more important than wearing a new t-shirt to promote a movie. --Mikedk9109 (sup) (stalk me) 21:51, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Did you even read the statement I gave right above this one? -- Mikedk9109 (talk) 16:13, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, Did you read my one about the minor edits? DXRAW 16:19, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] My talk page
Would you like to point me to where it says I can't delete things from my talk page? I think you'll find, whilst it's customary to archive, there's nothing that actually says I must, whereas this administrator says I can. You may also want to read this. CelebHeights 12:29, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
-
Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages without replying (if a reply would be appropriate or polite) will probably be interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil, and this can become an issue in arbitration or other formal proceedings.
Also you might want to read this. DXRAW 13:21, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't care whether it seems hostile, as long as I've read from a more respected source than you that I can delete messages (a link which I notice you completely ignore), then I shall continue to do so. And as we've already established, you're messages are not none harassing; calling me a dick seems quite the opposite. CelebHeights 13:37, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

When i clicked on the archive, There was nothing in it, Hence the revert. DXRAW 02:53, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 00:59, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Chadbryant
Okay, I'm not going to take any direct action on this one. I think what's happening here is that DXDRAW is no longer assuming good faith. This is happening because Chadbryant has had a number of run-ins before, being blocked multiple times, and is blanking warnings from DXDRAW. Accusations of wikistalking don't help matters; leaving template warnings is not considered wikistalking. What I'd like to see is for both of you to ignore each other completely for 24 hours. Then for the next twenty four hours, the following: No template warnings from DXDRAW to Chadbryant but instead, if DXDRAW wants to leave a warning, leave a hand-written warning explaining what was done incorrectly and what you'd do differently in order not to get a warning. And Chadbryant to leave the message in tact, not blanked, and to assume that DXDRAW is correct and try to understand what he is saying. After that 24 hours are up, you are free to go about your business. What I hope this accomplishes is to sort of hit the reset button here. I'm not investigating further at this point because really, the best way to resolve conflicts like this is not to determine who is right, it's to step back a bit. I know in my experience, I've sometimes had to step back for a bit even though I knew I was in the right, and I've found it really does help matters. If you two would be willing to try something like this, please respond on my talk page indicating your agreement. This isn't something I'm going to enforce so please feel free to tell me to bug off. But I think it is worth a shot. --Yamla 03:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User talk pages
Hi DX, I don't know if you've been following the various discussions at WP:AN, but consensus seems to have decided that it's best not to interfere with other user's talk pages. The warning templates previously given for removing warnings from one's talk page have been delisted, and it is now considered harrasment to revert a user's talk page (so RC-patrollers have to trawl through the page history to see which warnings have been given). I say this because I notice that you have come into conflict with the problematic Chadbryant, and he seems insistent on blanking your comments from his talk page. My advice here would be to avoid feeding the troll. Anyway, have fun! yandman 09:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Sweetchinmusic.jpg
Please do not recreate images after they have been deleted for failing our first fair use criterion. Thanks, --RobthTalk 03:01, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I did not, I uploaded a new one. DXRAW 03:08, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I see; my browser's cache had not cleared, so I saw the old one. Although this image is different, it has the same problem as the old one, namely, it is a fair use image of a subject for which a free image could reasonably be created, and is thus not permissible under our policy. --RobthTalk 03:14, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Can you create one please then? DXRAW 03:32, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have never been to a pro wrestling event, and probably never will go to one. Other Wikipedians, however, might go, and by removing this image we creat the incentive for them to replace it with a free image of their own creation; hopefully such an image will be created at some point soon. --RobthTalk 03:34, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I would love to replace it but unless they come to Australia then i dont have a chance. DXRAW 03:39, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR warning
Both you and 80.47.156.134 are currently in violation of WP:3RR on the article about Randy Orton. Please refrain from any more edits to that article for 24 hours and please take your dispute to the discussion page. Both of you are clearly acting in good faith but are both in violation of 3RR and both of you will be blocked if the violations continue (3RR requires that I treat both of you the same way and you are both productive contributors to the Wikipedia). Please use the discussion page to build a consensus before editing further. It's a trivial matter and I strongly suspect you two can come to a compromise if you assume the other is also acting in good faith. Thanks. --Yamla 20:27, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
You said: "Hmmm, When i click on history it shows only 3 edits for the 12 November 2006. Could it be your seeing different cause of time zones?"
- It's within a 24 hour period, not in the space of one calendar day. In any case, what's more relevant is that you and the other user take a 24 hour break; neither of you have yet been blocked for a 3RR violation. Rest assured that I would be certain one or both of you had violated 3RR before blocking (my warning was issued with just a cursory examination), but I seriously doubt this will be necessary. Neither of you have given me any indication that you aren't happy to abide by Wikipedia policies and my warning was simply to note that you were both in danger of violating one. --Yamla 20:39, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Again
Mikedk9109 said: "I gave DXRAW a final warning after he deleted the tag and warnings from me and you again."
- You responded, "I don't know if you've been following the various discussions at WP:AN, but consensus seems to have decided that it's best not to interfere with other user's talk pages. The warning templates previously given for removing warnings from one's talk page have been delisted, and it is now considered harrasment to revert a user's talk page."
- I believe I participated in that discussion and my belief is that no consensus was reached. Nevertheless, it is reasonable to assume that without consensus, we must now allow people to blank current warnings from their talk page. This will obviously be evidence of bad faith if the user continues violating the same policies they have previously been warned about, and I am not happy about this, but a person (even an administrator) does not need to be happy. Mike, thank you for acting in good faith and for warning DXRAW for problem images. DXRAW, thank you for bringing to my attention the discussions once again. --Yamla 20:32, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
