[edit] Salvete
Sorry, I couldn't resist. For all of you who don't do long dead languages "Salvete" is the Latin for 'Hello', so "Hello!" My name is Daniel Wilkes and I hail from Welsh Newton, Near Monmouth, but still in Herefordshire, United Kingdom (phew!), and Welsh Newton was my first article. (I know, isn't it awful!) Actually I should probably get round to finishing it at some point... but if anyone feels they'd like to give it a go, feel free, the info's there, it just needs making less...plagiaristic! Well anyway, more about me:
- I'm 16
- I'm half English, a quarter Welsh and a quarter Scottish, I guess that really does make me British!
- I am currently a student at a local Public School
- I want, in three years, to go to the Cardiff University School of Medicine to study well, medicine. I'm still not sure what field I am going to study.
- I'm an agnostic. My main belief is that people should be allowed to believe and do what the want to do, unless it involves causing someone else harm. (Well, unless the person on the recieving end wants harm to come to them).
- I'm not exactly what you might call an active editor. I do use Wikipedia a lot, however I only rarely make big edits, (luckily for Wikipedia) but I will proof read, and I correct any mistakes I find.
- In January 2006 I decided to join The Association of Members' Advocates because: 1) I felt like it; 2) I agreed with the idea that users on Wikipedia should be able to get representation and 'legal' advice; 3) ...of an incident involving disenfranchisement. So, If you are here looking for help or advice, please leave a message on my talk page!
