Dverberg

Dverberg is a former municipality in Nordland county, Norway.
On January 1, 1924 the municipality Andøya was split in three, creating the new municipalities Bjørnskinn (to the south), Dverberg (in the middle) and Andenes (to the north). At that time Dverberg had 1.477 inhabitants.
On 1 January 1964 Dverberg was reunited with Bjørnskinn and Andenes to form the new municipality Andøy. Before the merger Dverberg had a population of 1.719.
