Talk:Dutch art

[edit] Somwhat incmoplete, not?
This article seems to be little more than a stub, as it only mentions painting. In order to qualify for its title, "Dutch Art", it should have sections on, at least:
- Ballet. (20th century)
- Graphic art. (e.g. M.C. Escher)
- Literature. (or a summary of/link to Dutch Literature)
- Movies.
- Music. (e.g: Sweelinck)
- Photography (?)
- Sculpture
- Other art I have no current knowledge of.
As it is, the article suggests, that there has never been any art worth mentioning in the Netherlands/Low Countries, other than painting. --Lokimaros 14:57, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
True, except that, following usual practice, only the visual arts should be here - not ballet, literature, movies, music etc! Also needs references to loads of other articles which i expect exist. Or this should be just called "Dutch Golden Age Painting", & the little bits on later priods moved to a new article.
I have added refs to articles on earlier painting Early Netherlandinsh painting, and am writing an article about old master prints a huge Dutch area. Will link when article more finished, if I remember Johnbod 23:14, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
