Dutchess County LOOP
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Dutchess County LOOP System is the popular name of the bus service provided by the Dutchess County Department of Mass Transit in Dutchess County, New York. LOOP provides a variety of bus services throughout Dutchess County ranging from fixed-route services, express service, and commuter shuttles to Metro-North Railroad stations plus dial-a-ride and paratransit services.
LOOP, and the Department of Mass Transit, was created in the early-1970s as the assumption of a variety of private line runs that had served various parts of the county.
