Dutch Square Mall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dutch Square Mall, located in West Columbia, SC was one of the original three major shopping malls in the city. Its original anchors were J.B. White and Tapp's. Columbia is a city that suffered from a glut of malls until recently, and the mall has struggled since superior Columbiana Centre opened further west in Columbia, SC. The mall is currently anchored by Belk and a multi-screen movie theater in the former Tapp's.
The Mall was also the home for many years of Columbia's second Cromer's P-Nuts store - locally famous for its "Guaranteed Worst In Town" slogan and, at the Dutch Square location, its live monkeys.
