Whenever a Muslim reads/speaks/hears the name of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, he prays a specific hadith called Darood or Durood described in the books of hadiths. These Daroods are in accordance with the words of Muhammad.
This is the darood=e=Ibrahimi
allāhumma Salli calā muHammadin wa calā āli muHammad kamā Sallayta calā ibrāhīma wa calā āli ibrāhīma innaka Hamīdun majīd; allāhumma bārik calā muHammadin wa calā āli muHammad kamā bārakta calā ibrāhīma wa calā āli ibrāhīma innaka Hamīdun majīd.
Which may be translated as: O God!
