Durnyam Mashurova

Durnyam Murdinovna Mashurova (born 8 March 1943) is an Uighur writer and poet in Kazakhstan. She wrote lirycs to songs performed by Dervishi, Uighur music band in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Durnyam Mashurova is best known for her controvercial memours describing life of her husband Azat Mashurov published in Uighur in 2005. These memours are being translated into Russian.
