Durham FM

Durham FM is a radio station for Durham based in Durham's city centre. It is owned by the Local Radio Company, which also owns Sun FM in Sunderland.
Durham FM broadcasts from studios based off Framwellgate Peth in the centre of Durham to the rest of the county. The station went on air on December 5th 2005 at 6am. The first song to be played on the station was The King Of Rock 'n' Roll by Prefab Sprout. Durham Fm has become part of the community, with shows rangeing from Craig's Mates with Craig Andrews taking the show to the listener, Punked with Mike Jinks and Soccer Sunday with Peter Grant.
