Dum Dum (1989) |
The Way of the Vaselines: A Complete History (1992) |
Dum Dum was The Vaselines first and so far only full length LP. It was recorded at Chamber Studios, Edinburgh between December 1988 and January 1989. It was produced by the band themselves and Jamie Watson, who also engineered the sessions.
By the time of the album's release, not only had The Vaselines ceased to be, but their label 53&3rd had closed as well. Dum-Dum was in effect the last great album of the Scottish indie pop scene of the late 1980s.
