Duffer (Narnia)

Duffers are invisible dwarves ruled by the magician Coriakin as related in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader from the Chronicles of Narnia. Coriakin was once a living star, but for some unspecified transgression Aslan commanded him to watch over the childish Duffers, who eventually become known as the Dufflepuds or the Monopods. They have one leg which ends in a large canoe-like foot. They convince Lucy Pevensie into reading the spell from the magicians Book that will undo their invisibility, since a young girl is the only one who can work the spell.
