Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is a racing video game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. It is the third game in the Midnight Club series. This time players race through San Diego, Atlanta, and Detroit. This installment in the series, unlike previous installments, features licensed, real-world vehicles. Rockstar also partnered with DUB Magazine which features heavily in the game in the form of DUB-sponsored races and DUB-customized vehicles as prizes.
Like previous installments in the series, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is an arcade-style racer and focuses on wild, high-speed racing rather than on realistic physics and driving characteristics.
The game features a number of graphic enhancements over previous installments. These included features like "speed smear" as well as enhanced lighting effects, and the inclusion of flying debris and particles coming into view after the player crashes into certain objects, or travels across particular stretches of road. The influence of other street racing games is also more evident with gameplay features like nitro injection and vinyl layers.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix is a rereleased version of Rockstar's street racing game Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. It is a Greatest Hits release on PlayStation 2 and a Platinum Hits release on Xbox.
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix features all the cities, cars, and music from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition as well as 24 new vehicles, a new city Tokyo (which is actually a revamped version of the Tokyo map from Midnight Club 2), new licensed music, new races and battle maps, and online gameplay. This version of the game allows the player to use the data on their memory card from the first version of Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition.
[edit] Storyline
Tomoya is a Japanese manager who works at "Speedway" company; and Toshi is a very imperfect mechanic. He tries to modify the heavily modified Infiniti G35, but Tomoya is seeing that the car is not looking good. At the final tournament, Tomoya tells you that they are having a competition known as the Imperial Palace tournament. Notice that the Purple Diamond icon is replaced to City Races. This is for Class A vehicles only. Once you have completed the Imperial Palace tournament, you will be awarded a brand new Pagani Zonda C12 S, plus a Tokyo Patrol version of the Nissan Skyline GT-R. At the end of the story, Tomoya begins to go ballistic that Toshi is doing horrible job on the Infiniti G35. Tomoya kicked Toshi and Tomoya said to Toshi: "Get out! Never come back!", he says that it looks like crap. Before he heads to his office, he kicks the Infiniti G35 violently. However, no ending credits are shown to the Remixed version.

[edit] Trivia
- The Gemballa GT 750 is similar to the Porsche Cayenne.
- The Gemballa F355 is similar to the Ferrari F355.
- The Gemballa Turbo Coupe is similar to the Porsche 911 Turbo and to the RUF RGT.
- The reason why they had to use the Gemballa versions of the Porsches and Ferraris is because Electronic Arts holds the rights to their licences, making them the only one who can use those vehicles in their games, yet strangely, Electronic Arts is supposed to hold the rights to Lamborghini's liscence, yet Lamborghinis appear in the game.
- As a possible reference to Ford Motor Company's refusal to allow its vehicles in the game, a 1981 Camaro the player will eventually race against carries a California license plate that reads "4RD SUX".
- The Lamborghini is the only vehicle name that are available to Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. 2 vehicles were available, like the Lamborghini Murciélago and the Lamborghini Gallardo. In the remixed version, the Lamborghini Diablo is the only Lamborghini car to appear in the game, and can be driven. The rest of the other vehicles were held by Electronic Arts.
- There are large numbers of Chevrolet vehicles that features the remixed version and the non-remixed version. This is a Midnight Club record to feature large numbers of Chevrolet cars.
