Dublin Youth Theatre, or DYT, is one of the oldest and largest youth theatres in Ireland and is based in a Georgian house on Upper Gardiner Street in the heart of the city. Prominent past members include Glen Barry (Van Wilder 2: Rise of the Taj), Veronica Coburn (Barabbas), Aoife Moriarty, Kevin Sherwin (Dublin Gospel Choir) and Brona C. Titley (Effigy, Jobless Satisfaction @ Edinburgh Fringe 2005). Dublin Youth Theatre recruits new members annually and stages a range of productions throughout the year.
Notable past productions include Stanley devised by Olyval Voyne (in collaboration with the cast) and Oblivion by Charlie McCarthy.
