Dubai Sheema Classic

The Dubai Sheema Classic is a Group 1 flat horse race in the United Arab Emirates for four-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 2,400 metres (approximately 1 mile 4 furlongs) on the turf course at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, Dubai during the Dubai World Cup meeting in March.
It was first run in 1998 as the Dubai Turf Classic, changing to its present name two years later. The race was run as a Group 1 for the first time in 2002.
