oops. I just noticed there's already a DSM-IV_Codes. Should this just get deleted? Quick glance shows all the data duplicated there.
I'd say no - the reason this article exists is so that there is an alphabetical listing, while DSM-IV_Codes is clearly by disorder type. The usefulness if this differentiation would be more obvious if this article were wikified. richdiesal 4 July 2005 06:29 (UTC)
ok. well i did my best i could with tabulating it, i'm not sure what can be done to improve it further. perhaps split the table into A B C etc subsections?
i cleaned up the article and removed wiki/cleanup templates. if someone disagrees, feel free to make it better. --Timecop 9 July 2005 02:54 (UTC)

The links to "#Top" do not work, there is no such anchor. Can I remove them? I did so in the [[DSM-IV Codes|category listing]... I mean, what's the point? Are there such links in other lists in Wikipedia? Skagedal 21:36, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
- This is a huge list. Seems to be the anchor is named 'top' while the references send to 'Top'. Perhaps they should be kept, but fixed. If you rewrite the anchors to link to '#top', then the page works properly. I guess I'll just do that now :) --Timecop 01:30, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Hi,
I've just been having a look at this DSM-IV Codes page, and I think there is some confusion afoot...
These are not DSM codes at all, they are ICD codes -- and the page template is designed so that clicks on any of the external disorder links go to an ICD-9 database being published on a website called icd9data.com, registered to a commercial venture called Alkaline Software, Inc. in Niagra Falls, New York.
Please check the official DSM FAQ for an explanation of the differences and similarities between ICD codes and DSM codes.
In my view, the entire list of codes being presented as DSM codes should be removed; it does not seem to me to be appropriate to be providing a list which is in effect little more than a very extensive set of links to an external commercial website. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.210.27.66 (talk • contribs) 12:07, 3 December 2006 (UTC).
