David Hedrick Skarjune is an Electronic Document Professional (EDP), Xplor International member, and Information Technology consultant for software, database, publishing, educational, and Internet projects in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis with a B.Sc. in Photography. Early in his career he worked in publishing as a photographer, graphic designer, journalist, writer, and editor for publications including TIME Magazine, Print, Advisor Media, Star Tribune, City Pages, and Public Art Review. As an I.T. professional he worked and consulted for major companies including Best Buy, UnitedHealth Group, and Personnel Decisions International.

Currently he provides consulting through his own company Word & Image, LLC, he is a staff member at the Minnesota AIDS Project coordinating web communications, and he is the organizer of the Minneapolis MySQL User Group and the editor of MySQLuser.com.
