DS Ramani DeCosta

Detective Sergeant Ramani DeCosta, played by Thusitha Jayasundera was a character in The Bill between 2003 and 2006. Ramani arrived as Detective Constable. She was promoted to Sergeant to run the Community Safety Unit. Ramani has been Acting DI twice.
