Drunen is a town with a population of 20,000 (2003) in the municipality of Heusden in the southern Netherlands. The town is located close to the National Park of Loonse en Drunense Duinen.
Drunen was for a long time itself a municipality, incorporating the communities of Drunen, Elshout and Giersbergen. In the mid-1990s Drunen was incorporated along with the former municipalities Vlijmen and Heusden into the new, enlarged municipality of Heusden.
