Dronero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km southwest of Turin and about 15 km northwest of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,142 and an area of 58.9 km2.[1]
The municipality of Dronero contains the frazione (subdivision) Tetti Monastero Pratavecchia Ricogno Ponte Bedale.
Dronero borders the following municipalities: Busca, Caraglio, Cartignano, Castelmagno, Montemale di Cuneo, Monterosso Grana, Pradleves, Roccabruna, San Damiano Macra, and Villar San Costanzo.
