Drogeham

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Drogeham (Droegeham in Frisian) is a small town of about 1,600 inhabitants in the province of Fryslan (The Netherlands). It belongs to the municipality of Achtkarspelen and it's situated in a rural area. Agriculture still plays an important part in the town, but small-scale industry is on the increase. Many people have their jobs in nearby larger towns like Drachten, Surhuisterveen and Leeuwarden. The most common language is still Frisian although there are more and more people coming to Drogeham who have Dutch as their mother-language.
