    • The introduction needs to say a lot more. At least one term (swarf) needs to be defined, and there are a few very important, general facts that belong in the intro.
    • The division of the entire article into two sections on wood and metal, respectively, is preposterous.
    • Drilling redirects here. It probably shouldn't. I see a potential for two separate articles: one on drilling and one on threading or tapping.

  • Should be called Drilling and tapping. A hole is tapped but a rod is threaded. However there is no mention of the tapping process (the application of the thread) here. Not very usefull....
