Dreher High School is a four year public high school in Columbia, South Carolina.

[edit] Foundation
The school was founded in 1938. It was named for E.S. Dreher, Superintendent of Columbia Schools. Dreher opened with 651 students and 30 faculty members. The original building has been renovated several times but is still in use, though it is slated to be demolished in the Fall of 2007. A new Dreher is currently being built right next to the old school and will open hopefully next year, and the old school will be demolished.
