Dreamland was an amusement park in St Kilda, Melbourne, which was opened on 2 November 1906. It was demolished in 1909, although the Figure-8 ride survived another few years.

In November 1906 "Dreamland" was opend in St. Kilda, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. It was built on an area of wasteland which included a lagoon. The lagoon had been drained in 1870 and for over 10 years it was unoccupied until "Dreamland" was built. "Dreamland" was demolished in 1909 but in 1912 Luna Park was opened in its place. Luna Park is still open and operating today and over the last several years has been undergoing a refurbishing. There are rides, foods, games and shops in Luna Park today.
