[edit] Synopsis

Andy is pursuing an unusual case of people being crushed to death in their sleep, with physical symptoms resembling a fall from a great height. Prue finds her sleep disturbed by strange dreams in which she's taunted by a man who longs to control her, and then kill her. Both end up leading to Whitaker Berman, a partially paralyzed man who uses his dream machine to invade the dreams of those who've rejected him, and kill them in their sleep. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Piper cast a spell to attract men, but it turns out too strong, and they can barely escape their myriad of admirers.

[edit] Spells

  • To Attract A Lover:

Clean the air with three sticks of cinnamon while putting petals of five roses, four shelled peas, anise oil, pepper red, sweet almond oil, honey, pinch of catnip, two drops of musk oil and cayenne pepper in a mortar. Place white, black and blue candles around your table. Write the type of lover that you want to attract on a piece of paper, read it aloud before putting it into a pouch with your hair inside, then add into the mortar and chant the spell twice to activate:
I conjure thee,
I conjure thee.
I'm the queen,
you're the bee.
As I desire, so shall it be.

[edit] Trivia

  • This episode marks the first in which there is no magical enemy at all. Although the Dream Sorcerer seems to be one, it turns out that he's just a normal man with an advanced machine.
  • The three main actresses wear the same dresses they wore for the promotional pictures of the season, as shown on the DVD cover of the season.
  • It is stated in this episode that Prue is 27 years old, which means on her birthday (which took place in the earlier episode Dead Man Dating), she turned 27, and this was back in 1998. Well, when Prue died, her headstone read that she was born in 1970, which means she would've turned 28 in 1998.
