Dre (born Andre Christopher Lyon ) was born in New York City. He moved to Miami with his family when he was five years old. He is one half of the production duo "Cool & Dre", along with Marcello "Cool" Valenzano. He is of Jamaican descent.
He is currently working on his solo album called "The Trunk". It will be released through Cool & Dre's label Epidemic Music and Jive Records. It's currently scheduled to be released in January 2007. It will feature production from Scott Storch, DJ Khaled, Timbaland, DJ Toomp and of course, Cool & Dre. The album will also feature Rick Ross, Dirtbag, Keyshia Cole and Anthony Hamilton. He is currently dating Christina Milian.[1]
