Release Date Info
This portion of the article is written rather poorly and includes information that has nothing to do with the game's release date. Can it be cleaned up a bit? The S 19:22, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Zetaman info on Bt2
You don't mind if post my good old friend Zetaman info here at wikipedia . Ratchetcomand 19:29, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- it's very messy. maybe you should try making it more orderly. at the moment, it also does not add much info. all the same stuff is practically repeated above in the preview. i'll await what other members think, but personally, it's just repetition. also, the rumored character section was removed to save space, and this whole bunch of cluttered stuff takes up space even more. - Zarbon
Zetaman info was delated

Unconfirmed Characters
Is it REALLY necessary to have rumored characters on here? I think it decreases the credibility of Wikipedia, not to mention looks silly. The S 04:15, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going to delated it becusce it most likey been edit by the fan boys from Gamefaqs.

Visual proof of Garlic Jr. and Hildegarn
Somebody has claimed that there is visual proof of them on here. I don't trust the person who said that, either show me proof that I can actually see it from or delete it. Either way, something must be done about this. -68.82.18.177 13:08, 9 June 2006

Since when was he confirmed?Muchi 21:23, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
Characters not confirmed
People keep adding in a bunch of characters to the confirmed section without any evidence that they are actually confirmed. I need help with removing these extraneous additions. Unless people can provide proof that the characters are confirmed, such as a video showing game footage, or screen shots, or something, then I don't think additional characters being added to the list is necessary.

- I have the trailers downloaded at home, I'll see what I can find and try to clean this up. Onikage725 15:52, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

- I looked at alot of pages from the links given at the bottom of the article, and found visual confirmation of Lord Slug's big form in nearly all of them, so I added the confirmed sign to his name. Unless, of course, you have another explaination of how Lord Slug's head and be as big as SSJ3 Goku.KojiDude 00:03, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Baby Vegeta
Baby Vegeta has a third form! The first is where he looks like base vegeta just with the lines in his eyes and grey hair. The second form is the one where he has those two spikes at his back kinda like friezas third form and the third form is the one which was in bt1!
- Don't forget Golden Oozaru form. However, there's no indication of any other form beyond the one in BT1 (thus far) Onikage725 22:55, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- In the GT series, yes. In the game, no. He only has his final Bebi Vegeta form, with the armor and all, in the game, and thus, there are no other forms for there to be a third of. They don't refer to Bebi Vegeta as being in his "third form" so we just call him Bebi Vegeta/Baby Vegeta.

Wanted / Unconfirmed Characters Section
Im Editting the page with this section, in order to avoid the events happened last days about the Fake Confirmed Characters. Please, must support the page with this section. If it is cleared again and again, please call an admin. Ace Class Shadow 22:24, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- It is unnecessary and unencyclopedic. We don't need unconfirmed characters. All the characters presently on the list are the ones that belong there. If you continue to revert, you can be assured that an Admin will be contacted.
- Daishokaioshin 20:13, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

- Gotta agree with Ace on this one. They belong in a special category to clear all doubts. CovenantD 22:37, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

-
- Uhh... You have the exact same IP. That probably means you're the same user. Agreeing with yourself doesn't mean anything. And no: Confirmed characters are already in their own category. There AREN'T any doubts about them. Putting confirmed characters in an unconfirmed characters section doesn't clear up anything.

- What "dicusion"? You mean the discussion that this user keeps deleting from the talk page? There doesn't need to be a list of characters that are unconfirmed. It's basically just a list of every character in the Dragon Ball series with any fighting ability at all. It is unnecessary, and doesn't contribute anything to the article. Please point out to be what about it is needed before telling me not to clear something when I am not the only user doing so. Other users, including myself, have already determined that an unconfirmed characters section detracts from the article. We will continue to make this article as valid as possible considering all the unknown factors of this game, and this section that is unneeded will not be part of the article's design, unless a concensus is reached among the users to reverse our decision.

- Oh, in addition, discussion is important here on wikipedia. Rather than just reverting things over and over and violating the 3 Revert Rule as "Ace" has done (several times), it is preferable that the matter be discussed. This user doesn't seem to be interested in discussion, however, just deleting anything he doesn't agree with and changing things back to the way he wants them. "Ace" if this is untrue, then feel free to step in and talk about it. But you're already on the block list, and if you continue this behavior, you may be banned from editting wikipedia.

-
-
- To ACASA, you should check the history of the article and see all the users who are trying to keep this article clean and correct, and then see all the times that "Ace" has reverted to his own version without discussing anything with anyone, as well as deleting comments from the talk page, which is vandalism. This may put things into perspective for you, even if you don't agree with the decision to remove the unconfirmed characters list.

- We don't need an Unconfirmed Characters page. If a character isn't going to be in the game for certain, then it really doesn't make much sense to have it there. And furthermore, this whole revert thing needs to stop, as it's only doing more harm than good, as Daishokaioshin has stated at least once.

- But since any Dragon Ball character is possible, that just puts us back with an enormous list of characters with no evidence that they will be included. An unconfirmed characters list is pure speculation, and speculation has no place on Wikipedia. I understand your reasoning, but it doesn't work out. We should only list what characters are known for certain to be in the game. Anything else is guesswork, and does not belong in an encyclopedia.

- Um, no. If I "won" (when there isn't anything to win) then you would have stopped putting the list back in, because, as I already stated, the list is just a bunch of names with no evidence that they are even being considered for the game, and with no evidence that it is possible they will be added. I am not your "lord" but if you want to do as I wish, then stop reverting the article. Also, I had a lot of difficulty understanding you. Is English not your first language or something?

- What's your third one? Do you mean edit? If so: That is false. You have reverted at least ten times so far. And yes, your English does seem to be a bit bad, though that's not the issue here. I was just commenting because it is making communication difficult. I don't know what "PD" stands for in this instance, or what you mean by "this is not a chat". What isn't a chat? What do you mean by "chat"? Do you mean a chatroom? If so: I never claimed this was a chatroom. It is a place for discussing the article, which is what I am doing. If you object to my discussing things in the appropriate place, then that's frankly too bad.

Wikipedia is NOT A CRYSTAL BALL. It isn't a matter of whether Daishokaioshin thinks it shouldn't be kept or some IP using multiple User Names thinks it should be kept. It is a matter of Wikipedia policy, which states - "Articles that present extrapolation, speculation, and "future history" are original research and therefore inappropriate" - In other words, NO Wanted / Unconfirmed Characters Sections .-3bulletproof16 23:39, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Requests for protection
- I have requested that the article be Semi protected from unregistered users (IP addresses) and newly registered users as an anonymous IP deliberately adds the section, Wanted / Unconfirmed / Unknown Characters, in which he adds a list of unverified speculation as to the characters in the upcoming game. The IP has also violated the 3RR and has ignored comments made by a wide number of editors. To add on to this, I request that the article's Talk Page also be Semi protected due to a number of comments being deleted by the IP address. To add your comment to this matter please do so here. -3bulletproof16 19:48, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- The request for a Semi protection was denied. However, Lord Deskana I VALUE YOUR OPINIONS was gracious enough to block the IP address responsible for most of the recent vandalism. If there are any more problems with single IP address users, you can report them on WP:AIV.-3bulletproof16 23:58, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Reverts
To the user who keeps on reverting the correct version to a different version: Please stop. I have given reasons as to why things should be the way they are in my edit summaries, but you aren't doing the same for yours when you make edits. Great Saiyaman redirects to the Son Gohan article, and Son Gohan is already linked. Great Ape is the name used in the game, not Oozaru. They refer to USSJ as "SSJ Super" in-game, not "USSJ1" (when there is only one USSJ to begin with). They also call Tenshinhan "Tien", Tao-Pai-Pai "General Tao" (or perhaps "Mercenary Tao". I'll have to check), Vegetto is called "Vegito" in the dub and Paikuhan is called "Pikkon".
If you disagree or have a reason why we should use your version over the current one, please state your reasoning. Thanks.
Daishokaioshin 12:58, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Apparently you'd rather return to your vandalism of the talk page and continue your vandalism of the article than discuss matters. This is not acceptable. Wikipedia is a community, and you need to talk to others if you have views or opinions on articles you would like expressed. Breaking the rules doesn't solve anything. Please try talking.
- Daishokaioshin 14:42, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- The reason about this its very simple. The USAs dub its very different from the rest of other countries dub, even the japanese dub. Its just that we have to put here the original names, no only the "invented" names from USA. Think a little aobut your edits: Are simply absurd and insignificant. Why cant you accept the other people edits . Please, make us a favor and stop this. First was the Wanted Characters section, now this Whats's next???.... Are you the owner or master of this article???? No one but you insist on this so much. All here except you agree. I think you are a simply amateur in the DBZ world. You have to read and view the Original Toriyama's creation.Ace Class Shadow 17:29, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- My edits are not "absurd and insignificant". I'm not using "invented" names for the USA, I am putting in the NAMES USED IN-GAME. I am all for using the names from the original Japanese version, which is why I have had to fix links repeatedly when people try to replace them dub names. No one is the owner or master of this article, and I never claimed I was. And no: You agree with yourself. I have not seen anyone agree with you on this matter, and we likely never will. I am far from being "simply amateur in the DBZ world", as should be evident from my contributions here and other places.
-
-
-
- There is nothing in the edits you keep implementing that has ANYTHING to do with the original version of Dragon Ball Z. This is about what articles are already linked, what articles are called what, and what names are used in-game. We are going by the actual names, not the names that YOU want.
-
-
-
- Meanwhile, you have vandalized this article repeatedly and have violated 3RR. If you continue, you will be blocked. So wise up.

- I agree with Dai. It makes more sense to use the names used in the game. One small thing though, the "USSJ"'s are refered to as a different character name, as in Super Vegeta (Super Saiyan) If you play the game you'll notice that. SSJ Super doesn't seem like the right term for it, and niether does USSJ1. Listing it as a different character all together is my idea.KojiDude 18:31, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

-
-
-
-
- I'll weigh in and say I agree too. The issue here isn't which names to be used on general DB information. This is a video game. We have a Street Fighter article on M. Bison, right? Since this article is specifically on "Budokai Tenkaichi 2" and not "Sparking! NEO", we should use the name's that will be in the version under discussion. On the other form, since the translation is based on the dub, and since they don't specify in the game, why don't we just use the names we have (meaning ASSJ for Vegeta and USSJ for Trunks). Also, I have NO idea which they'll go with for Tao, but I think they used dif names in the first one (on character select and in the bio, ill check when im awake enough to plug in my PS2).
