The Dragon Radar (or scanner) is an instrument in the fictional manga series Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z and the anime Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT.

The Dragon Ball Radar, built by Bulma, and is used to find Dragonballs very quickly when compared to conventional methods. This is due to the fact that Dragonballs emit a faint electromagnetic pulse, which the Radar can detect. In Dragonball Goku broke the Dragonball Radar while fighting General Blue. This is when Arale from Dr. Slump appears. She asks her father/creator Senbei Norimaki to fix it, but Senbei couldn't make heads nor tails of it. Turbo, her baby genius "brother" ends up fixing it while nobody else was looking. The radar is used frequently by Son Goku and his friends in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, but in Dragon Ball GT, the Dragon Ball Radar is assimilated by the robot Giru, thus giving Giru the ability to find the Dragonballs for Goku and the others.

Emperor Pilaf eventually built his own, superior version of the Dragon Radar; shaped like a globe and installed in his floating airship; it was able to show the Dragon Balls' exact location on the planet.
