DR Period

DR Period or D/R Period, a.k.a. Divine Ruler Period, is a hip hop producer and rapper from Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York City.
DR Period got his start by producing M.O.P.'s debut album, To the Death, including the hit single "How About Some Hardcore." He has also produced for a bevy of other New York artists:
- AZ ("Mo Money Mo Murder (Homicide)" featuring Nas)
- Smoothe da Hustler (the album Once Upon a Time in America)
- Shyheim ("What Makes the World Go Round")
- Public Enemy (several tracks on the He Got Game soundtrack)
- Onyx (several tracks on the album Bacdafucup Part II)
- Cormega ("The True Meaning")
- The Diplomats (on the album Diplomatic Immunity)
and Masta Ace ("F.A.Y."), as well as much more M.O.P. material.
DR Period is currently working on his solo album, to be produced and rapped by himself.
