Dr. Weird is not truly metafictional. He first appeared in the Fanzine, Star Studded Comics. Icarus 23 04:17, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I added some links to sources of information about Star Studded Comics on the Big Bang Comics page. Don't have time to integrate into articles right now, but Dr. Weird pre-dates Big Bang by many years. Icarus 23 06:50, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
