"Born on the same day in the hospital, Lance Sterling and Dr. Otto couldn't be more different. While Lance turned out perfect in every way, Dr. Otto was born bad, with fifteen fingers, and warped like cheap lumber. Dr. Otto became Lance Sterling's arch-enemy--but he hated more than Lance's arch, he hated everything about him. Even in early childhood they were polar opposites. Now they've grown up and Dr. Otto is determined to take over the world. With the help of his newest invention, "The Gloom Beam," Dr. Otto plans to produce chaos, famine and utter destruction by demagnetizing all the credit cards and ATM cards.
Dr. Otto is aided in his nefarious plot by the "changing coffin"--a chamber that allows him to change his persona from Australian soldier-of-fortune to old, retired, Jewish bed and breakfast owner.
A riddle is posed to the world that no one can solve, not even Lance Sterling. Or can he? With the help of his trusted assistant, Doris, will they save the world? Will they keep Dr. Otto from demagnetizing all the credit cards? If you could be any animal which animal would you be? Watch Dr. Otto and the Riddle of the Gloom Beam and you'll know."
