Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology

Founded by Sri Jayprakash Narayan, and named after Dr BR Ambedkar, the institute offers various branches like electronics, telecommunication, civil engineering, mechanical, etc.... It was headed by Mr. Uday Kumar as Principal and in early 1990’s, Mr. Hanume Gowda was the HOD of Dept of Electronics and Telecom. During early 1990’s this college had lots of students from both north and south India, but in recent years most people are from the south and based on merit.
