[edit] Merge

It seems to me that the San Diego, California article is supposed to be about the city itself and therefore anything that is not already present there needs to be moved while this title needs to be redirected to that article. Erechtheus 04:35, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Oppose. Downtown San Diego is a separate topic from the City of San Diego. Downtown San Diego is about a specific section of San Diego, that happens to be referred to as Downtown. The San Diego article is about the entire city, it's history, the government, etc. --Serge 22:39, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Strong Oppose. Other neighborhoods have thier own articles and many people, including residents and city officials designate downtown as a separate neighborhood/community, with its own identity, culture and "scene".--Chicbicyclist 23:48, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Oppose. Downtown is very distinct from the rest of the city. Soltras 03:21, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arts and culture section

This section has been repeatedly removed twice now and I want to know why. I think it's relevant and it is inline with other San Diego neighborhood since downtown, collectively is very distinct compared to the rest of the city and the region as a whole.--Chicbicyclist 07:39, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
