Downsville, Wisconsin

Downsville is an unincorporated community in the Town of Dunn, in Dunn County, Wisconsin; the town government of Dunn is located in the area. Founded at a crossing of the Red Cedar River in 1855, the community is home to about 200 people.
Located in Downsville is the Dunn County Historical Society's Empire in Pine Museum.
About 3 miles south of the village lies the girlhood home of Caddie Woodlawn, preserved at the Caddie Woodlawn Park.
The village is widely known in western Wisconsin as the home of The Creamery, an upscale restaurant and inn.
