Downhill Racer was a 1969 film directed by American director Michael Ritchie on his film debut. It is a film drama about skiing starring Robert Redford and Gene Hackman.

Cocky Robert Redford joins the U.S. ski team as a downhill racer and clashes with the team's coach, played by Gene Hackman. Lots of good skiing action leading to an exciting climax.
