Doublejayy2k, A.k.a. Jay Buckley. Jay Buckley is a student at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Psychology/Pre-med and minoring in Athletic Training. He is a cadet in the Army ROTC and will accept a comission as a 2LT in 2010. His hobbies include skiing and guitar playing. His favorite mountian is Vail, and plays Epiphone and Guitars guitars. He graduated from the New Hampton School in 2006 after battling through high school with a serious case of Attention Deficit Disorder , and has been known as a outspoken supporter of special education reform. He is a registered republican. His favourte cars include his 1999 Volvo T5 and his 2002 Porsche Boxster. Jay wants to continue to medical school at Dartmouth and become a psychiatrist.

History: Jay Selleck Buckley IV was born in Worchester, MA on August 19th, 1987 to Holly B. Buckley and Jay Selleck Buckley III. Lived in Morristown, New Jersey until 1993 when his family moved to Plymouth New Hampshire. Jay attended Plymouth Elementary School through 8th grade. During his middle school years, he struggled with classes and learning, and was identified as a student with a learning disablity. Jay participated in a weekend warrior ski racing program at Tenney Mountian, and became a registered racer with the United States Ski Association. Jay started his high school career at Plymouth Reigonal High School with a broken leg in a full leg cast, due to an Anterior Cruciate Ligament tear during the previous track season. He would incur the same injury that spring running hurdles. Jay encountered significant problems keeping up with classes his freshman and sophmore years of public high school. He was tested and eventually coded with Attention Deficit Disorder and a spatial learning disablity (specifically with math, foriegn language and geometry). However, his general Intellegence Quotient was rated at 135, in the superior range especially with writing and word comprehension. Jay left the public high school system after his sophmore year, after participating in PRHS's theatre productions of Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat and Grease and racing in the Ski Team. He started his junior year at the New Hampton School, and played soccer in the fall. Jay started blossoming at NHS, and landed a place on the Varsity Ski Team there, as well as staying on honor roll for the first time in his high school career. On a less elated note, Jay was involved in a serious car accident 3 weeks before Christmas on the way to school one morning. He totaled his first car, a Volvo 850. He was so convinced that the Volvo saved his life, he went down to the nearest dealership and bought a Volvo S70, which is still on the road today. During the summers of his high school years, Jay was an Emergency Medical Technician at the basic level, a lifeguard at Plymouth State University, and a camp councilor for his local Park and Recreation department.

Jay returned to New Hampton to his seinor year with all honors classes and joined the mountian biking team in the fall. Ski season came and Jay placed in the top 10 in every Varsity race, his highest rank was 5th at a Slalom race at Bromley Mountain in Vermont. He was slated to upset the top 10 in his division at the slalom championchips that year but he tore his ACL for the third time while warming up for the run, and was unable to compete. Dispite his injury, Jay spent his spring in the school production of Godspell, which was a resounding sucess. Jay was interested in Bowdoin College,Lehigh University ,Franklin and Marshall College, University of New Hampshire and Colgate University. After visiting UNH, he applied early decision to the school, and was accepted into their Pre-med program.
