[edit] Sideshow
Aren't doughnuts also called "sideshows", referring to them being done "just for fun"? Plus, isn't it illegal to do doughnuts? If so, shouldn't this page be removed? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.188.172.165 (talk • contribs) .
- Just because they're illegal doesn't mean we can't have an article on them. We have articles on homicide and pedophilia. If indeed they are called sideshows, provide some verification and then feel free to add it! Mr. Lefty Talk to me! 20:45, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
It would be a service to add some information about the dangers of this manuever: three young men in our community were almost killed last week when they rolled a Jeep Grand Cherokee trying to "do donuts."
- Feel free to add it!

- What I mean is that we shouldn't have a description on how it's done. 67.188.172.165 21:14, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

- Wikipedia should not censor that kind of information. However, I think it would be appropriate to add a note about the dangers of doing this in vehicles with a high center of gravity. In some vehicles (such as my MINI Cooper), it would be completely and utterly impossible to roll the car doing this kind of manouver in a suitably open space - and apart from the terrible things it does to your tyres, it's safe. [edit] RWD?
Rally drivers can do them in 4WD cars, and I've personally seen Stig Blomqvist doing doughnuts in a front-wheel-drive Skoda! 86.132.143.8 00:37, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
