Douneika (Greek: Δουνέικα, formerly: Δουναίικα), formerly Dounaiika or rarely Duneika is a community located 2 km west of GR-9A/E55 from the southern entrance and about 3 km from the northern entrance in the southern part of the municipality of Amaliada in the prefecture of Elis. It is located on a road linking Amaliada and Katakolo. Distance from Patras is 85 km SW, about 9 to 10 km SW of Amaliada, W of Vounargo, about 15 km NW of Pyrgos and 35 km WNW of Olympia.

The community has a small school, a church, and a square(plateia). The area also had a train station but had no railway crossing until the 2000s linking Amaliada and Katakolo. Local streets are grid.

The area is hilly and pine trees surround the village along with pastures and olive groves with a few other mixed farming like tomatoes. Douneika also has an agricultural factory and a ceramic factory.

It has two fields and is 2 km from its nearest beach.
