Douglas Carnegie

Lt.-Col. Hon. Douglas George Carnegie was born the son of Lt.-Col. George Carnegie, 9th Earl of Northesk and Elizabeth Georgina Frances Elliot on 4 January 1870. He died on 27 February 1937 at age 67.
He married Margaret Jean Johnstone-Douglas, daughter of Arthur Henry Johnstone-Douglas and Jane Maitland Stewart, on 26 April 1894 and had four children:
- John Douglas Carnegie, 12th Earl of Northesk (16 February 1895–1975)
- David Alexander Carnegie (15 January 1897–2 April 1917)
- Lady Jean Douglas Carnegie (31 August 1899)
- Margaret Carnegie (7 June 1901–19 April 1946)
