Doug Schmidt

Doug Schmidt (born December 16, 1961) is an American author and editor. Schmidt grew up in Oak Lawn, Illinois. After graduating from Wheaton College (Illinois), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he started his work in Christian publishing.
According to Schmidt’s website, his published works have been especially well-received by people who have been traumatized by abuse and domestic violence, and with those who struggle with internalizing appropriate responsibility. Schmidt is also listed as an expert on forgiveness in the context of divorce in DivorceCare video curriculum, now available in over 8,000 churches. [1]
