Doug Livermore

Douglas Ernest Livermore (b. 27 December 1947) is a former professional footballer and current assistant manager at Norwich City.

As a player, Livermore played for Liverpool, Norwich, Cardiff and Chester before beginning his coaching career.

He started his coaching career at Norwich in 1980 as Reserve team manager, before moving onto Swansea to take up a similar role. He then moved onto Tottenham Hotspur F.C. were again he was Reserve team manager and also took the role of coach for Wales. In 1992, he was appointed joint manager of Tottenham Hotspur with Ray Clemence. After being replaced by Ossie Ardiles at Tottenham, he became assistant manager to Roy Evans at Liverpool. Livermore left Liverpool at the same time as Evans in 1998, and then he and Peter Shreeves were appointed as assistants to Ron Atkinson at Nottingham Forest F.C. in 1999. After Forrest were relegated from the Premiership he moved back to hsi former club Norwich City, and became assistant to Bruce Rioch. He has remained in this role under Bryan Hamilton, Nigel Worthington and now Peter Grant.
