Dotta·Riffic pen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Dotta·Riffic pen is a water-based[1] "pigment-ink," xylene free,[2] "acid free" "waterproof" pen (sometimes described as a "marker") primarily designed for making dots of various sizes, though it can also be used for drawing and lettering.[3] It is sold by Zig Memory System for use in scrapbooking,[4] and has been advertised as good for use in cardmaking,[5] though it has been used in fine art applications.
The pen has nibs on either end, one for making large dots and the other for making small dots; one website claims it can "create perfect dots from approximately 1 mm to 8 mm in size."[6] It is or has been sold in a number of colours including but not limited to "pure yellow," "cool cucumber," "pure red," "pure blue,"[7] "baby pink," "butter," "English lavender," "fawn," "pale mint," "peach bliss," "platinum," "powder blue,"[8] "burgundy"[9] (which may or may not be the same colour as "antique burgundy"), "clover" and "pure pink."[10] The pen also comes as a "blender" pen.[11]
