[edit] Intro rewrite

Most of the introduction is taken verbatim from http://dphs.org Gyre 05:34, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I've done some rewriting. --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 23:02, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Details, Details...

Is it just me or does this article delve needlessly into unnecessary detail? Giving the administrators' names is probably okay, but do we honestly need to list every single AP course and sport that DP offers? If the school won some trophies, or did exceedingly well in a particular subject (or if it's the only school to offer a particular course in the district, or something like that--and DP was the only in the area to offer AP Comp Sci for about two years), then that should go in there. But this article needs a big rewrite. By the way, does anyone know if we're supposed to keep the number of photos of the campus contained to two or something, or can I just go wild and take like six and put them up? -Theaterfreak64 03:35, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I think the AP class list should certainly be cut. Gyre 05:11, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shoot your heart out.

Take as many pictures as you want. I agree alot of this needs to be reritten, allthough i think the AP and IB classes that DP offers are an important aspect of what needs to be brought to the readers eye.

Maybe a little more background of the school and its athletic programs such as girls golf and how they seemingly never lose etc etc etc

Take a look at WP:SCH and at other well-written school articles, anything that necessarily describes the school's notability will work (pictures, text, special AP classes, etc.) The article isn't that bad as-is (although there's always room for cleanup), I've seen a lot worse... 71.146.161.190 15:59, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
