[edit] License tagging for Image:165 285 image114.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:165 285 image114.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Verifiability of edits

Thank you for your editing and interest in the subject of Egyptian Politics. May I suggest supporting citations when writing statements (refer to Wikipedia's section on verifiability)? Cheers. --Jamal 10:38, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image naming

I noticed you've uploaded Image:165 285 image114.jpg and I thought I should turn your attention to a common error.
Please give uploaded images meaningful names. Otherwise they are difficult to track and it is hard to tell what the image is about without actually looking at it. I suggest you rename your image with an intuitive name that describes the image itself. Thanks, and good editing! --BrownCow • (how now?) 00:01, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
