A dutch Dornier Do 24 flying-boat
Deutsch: Das dreimotorige Flugboot Do 24 von Dornier war während des Zweiten Weltkriegs das wichtigste Arbeitsmittel der deutschen Seenotrettungsfliegerei. Ungezählte in Seenot geratene Menschen konnten durch sie gerettet werden, gleichgültig, ob es sich um Freund oder Feind handelte.
