Dorus de Vries

Dorus de Vries (born December 29, 1980 in Beverwijk) is a Dutch football goalkeeper who currently plays for Dunfermline Athletic.
He started his career at Stormvogels Telstar. In 2003 he transfrerred to ADO Den Haag. After some mistakes by first choice keeper Roland Jansen, he took over the position of number one goalkeeper. In 2006 ADO Den Haag told the keeper that he would not be awarded a new contract.
In the summer of 2006, following a trial, he signed a contract with Dunfermline Athletic in Scotland.
